Caribaï deploys a sensitive and contemplative work through suspensions and paintings. Her work is inspired by natural elements, revealing influences from her native Japan.
Based in Grasse, the Franco-Venezuelan artist was invited to take over the spaces of the Departmental Museum of Asian Arts with two new installations: a monumental work made up of 43 panels composing a new environment for the Buddhist statuary in the museum's rotunda; an original creation in paper suspended from the ceiling on the ground floor and designed around the central staircase of the building.
